Stories about dogs. And the people who love them.
Every dog has a story.
I make short documentary films and photographs that capture the ridiculous, beautiful, complicated relationship between people and their dogs.
Some of those stories are editorial — dogs, people, businesses, rescues and Atlanta characters I choose to feature.
And some are commissioned — made privately for people who want to preserve the story of their own dog.

Hi, I’m Mandy. The person behind DOGumentary ATL
For more than 20 years, I told stories for television news, earning an Emmy and a few other fancy journalism awards along the way. I covered everything from Final Fours and Super Bowls to high-profile court cases. I even flew with the Hurricane Hunters into the eye of Hurricane Florence in 2018.
Then one day, I decided to point my camera in a different direction: dogs.
Our dogs play such important roles in our lives, yet most of our memories of them live in still photos or quick cellphone videos. We capture the funny moments when we can, but so much of what makes them special is found in the little things. The way they look at us. Their quirks. Their routines. The quiet presence they bring to our everyday lives.
I created DOGumentary ATL to preserve those moments before they become memories. Through cinematic films and photography, my goal is to help you hold on to this chapter of your dog's story for years to come.
